Licenced to be Bond

This is a personal favourite at the moment. I wanted to do one last sketch for 2014 and was stumped on what to do. I finally settled on this and 6 hours later I was finished. To sit and draw this without a break is not good on the back but it was worth the pain.

Inspector Gadget - Set of 4

Something a little different. Retro is always cool and who didn't grow up loving Inspector Gadget. This set of 4 was great fun to sketch.

Portraits of Elders .

People have always asked me if I could do portraits for them and I have always refused. Mainly because with the inability to recognise faces, I have never felt like I will be able to draw what they see. As of late I have been challenging myself more and decided to draw both of my grand-fathers as a gift to my parents. These sketches are taken from photos in their younger days during the 2nd World War. Below are the original photos, Hopefully this leads to more sort of work like this.

Antman

This was not a subject I would have considered but a comment on a facebook post, suggested this one. At the time, I didn't even know they were making a movie. Such an obscure choice, so it will be interesting to see how the movie pans out.

The Thing - Fantastic Four

This sketch was actually quite fun to do although it was a bit tedious. Plus, who doesn't like the Thing.

Pennywise - "It"

When someone suggested that I draw an evil clown that could be a tattoo, this is what I ended up doing. I have gone from not doing faces to starting to do quite a few. Although this is not the sort of pencil sketch most would want to hand in their house, I think it would look quite good in a media room or similar.

Deadpool

After seeing a short video for the movie in production "Deadpool", I decided this was a good one to draw. Inspiration in most cases is very simple and random. This is currently in Shop85 for sale.
